How does a laser show work?
A laser show is created by directing a laser beam using ultra-fast, highly precise moving mirrors (scanners) inside the projector. Control software sends signals to these scanners, allowing the system to draw thousands of points per second. When the beams become visible through haze or fog in the air, this results in immersive three-dimensional beam shows. When projected onto a surface, the same technology can be used to create two-dimensional graphic laser shows.
How long does a laser show last?
The length of a laser show is completely flexible. At concerts or festivals, laser effects are often used in short sequences spread throughout the event, serving as powerful visual highlights rather than the main storytelling element. For themed openings, brand activations, or product launches, laser shows can be designed as a standalone feature, with the duration tailored entirely to the creative concept.
How much does a professional laser show cost?
The price of a professional laser show can vary widely and depends on several factors, including the size of the venue, the number and output of the laser projectors, the complexity of the show programming (live-operated or pre-programmed), and the required logistics and personnel (such as laser safety officers and technicians). What is required for a laser show?
A basic laser show setup consists of at least one laser projector, suitable control hardware (such as a lighting console or computer-based control system), and professional laser control software. To make the laser beams visible in the air, a medium such as haze or fog—typically generated by haze or fog machines—is almost always required. For public events, a certified laser safety officer is also mandatory to ensure full compliance with safety regulations.
Is a laser show dangerous?

Do laser shows need to be registered or approved?

A timecode show, by contrast, is fully pre-programmed and precisely synchronized to a soundtrack down to the millisecond, leaving no room for spontaneous adjustments during the performance.
