Shutdown Festival

The Shutdown Festival in Austria offers a unique backdrop for a weekend of the best hardstyle sounds. Every year since 2015, 15,000 new and old fans of this event have gathered in the shadow of a nuclear power plant that has not only been decommissioned, but never put into operation, to breathe life and celebration into it for one day a year.

In this way, this building serves a purpose that it would never have dared to dream of - to provide a home for thousands of music fans.

And what goes better with hardcore sounds in an extraordinary, disused industrial facility than razor-sharp laser effects? We have had the honour of taking on this role since 2017 and have been delighted to be able to provide an absolutely reliable network infrastructure at the Shutdown Festival with eventCORE since 2023.
